This chapter describes the new features in NetMan Desktop Manager 5.8.
General
•WebDAV support: NetMan Desktop Manager supports communication via the WebDAV protocol, making it much easier to use mobile devices in class.
Data protection
•Restrict users from processing: User restriction was implemented as a process in the software according to the GDPR. You can now temporarily exclude users’ personal data from processing.
•Logging of data protection operations: Data protection specific operations are shown on a separate page in the Log Viewer. Creating, erasing and restricting of users are logged.
